 Welcome to the personal site of Christian Mac Kay Tepper. I'm an Agriculture Engineer with a Science degree in Agricultural Resources and a Mayor in Fruit Culture and Oenology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. I have been living in Baja California, México for several years in one of the most important wine regions in this country.
I worked as winemaker for 4 years at the L.A. Cetto winery located in Guadalupe Valley, the largest wine producer in Mexico.
For a couple of years I worked as a Professor in the Viticulture and Enology Speciality, belonging to the School of Enology and Gastronomy of the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, where I was teacher of two subjects; Vinification and Oenology. Also I am currently attending an MSc in Arid Regions Ecosysytems Management, in my case focused on vine culture. My thesis subject is "Caracterización y Propuestas de Manejo Vitivinícola para el Valle de Guadalupe, B.C., México". I am currently working as an independent winemaker/oenologist, consulting for several producers and with some own production projects.
